Our mission is to shine a spotlight on the rich tapestry of Bulacan’s culture, cuisine, events, and businesses.
We strive to provide a community for local content creators to share their unique perspectives, stories, and creativity, thereby illuminating Bulacan’s diverse heritage and vibrancy. Through collaboration, innovation, and community engagement, we aim to bring Bulacan to the forefront of Philippine tourism, ensuring its stories and wonders are shared and celebrated far and wide.
Our Story
The journey of our lively content creator community began on July 15, 2014, as a humble Facebook group by co-founders Vix Parungao, Ayie Domingo and Kaye Mendez, joined shortly by Jen Villanueva and Gretch Filart.
The FB group’s primary goal was to create a space where local content creators could connect, collaborate, and share their work. Driven by a shared love for Bulacan and its rich heritage, the founders saw an opportunity to use social media to highlight the province’s beauty and stories.
The earliest version of what is now known as #ByahengBulacan happened on November 18, 2015 with the co-founders getting together to review a resto in Malolos and a spa in Santa Maria.
The community was mostly quiet with a few get togethers over the years, but with the joining of admin EJ Fabro in 2019, the group slowly saw a resurgence in active members and started organizing meetups, workshops, and local events from 2022 onwards.
The group’s gatherings are marked by enthusiastic exchanges of ideas, collaborative projects, and a growing sense of community. These activities not only strengthened the bonds within the community but also increased their visibility and influence.
Over time, the group evolved into a well-recognized platform that champions Bulacan’s culture, history, and contemporary life. Today, our community continues to thrive, driven by the same passion and dedication that sparked its creation.
